Complete remodel of a 70's apartment in the heart of Athens

(1076 sq ft) This two bedroom apartment from the 70's was in dire need of a renovation, but its location was unique in Athens' tight quarters: third floor with a full and unobstructed view of Strefis Hill, one of the two hills in the center of the city.
This led the owners to do a full overhaul, tearing down walls and converting the compartmentalized space into an open floor plan, letting the light and the greenery invade the eye as much as possible.

Walls that separated the rooms gave into a unified space

The original compartmentalized layout divided entry hall, living room and dining room. The kitchen was in a separate, enclosed space.
